Beachfront Rescue

After the beloved pier, amusement park and existing structures were ravaged by fire, the Jersey Shore’s new mixed-use development of 16 acres sparked the revitalization of an entire beachfront community. The architectural design borrows from the city’s historical architectural heritage of stately Victorian beachfront mansions. The building forms a semi-circular festival plaza completely lined with 100,000 square feet of boutique shops and restaurants. The upper 4 floors encompass 536 year-round rental apartments. The development has received numerous awards for its success in place making, including the APA N.J. Great Places Award.
