Hoboken’s Upper West Side

The Fifteenth Street Redevelopment plan proposes a network of parks and open spaces that provide not only a canopied grand boulevard, but a link between the upland palisades and the estuarine edge of the Hudson River. These tightly woven, intimate, tree-lined streets connect the parks to each other and to Hoboken’s current and future waterfront parks at the Hudson River Walkway along the eastern edge of the city. This offers Hoboken a sense of place within the upper west side. The Fifteenth Street Development network of streets are woven together from Fourteenth Street viaduct area to Weehawken. These streets are the bones of the plan.
